The new executive action charges agencies, like the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Education, to release sample policies for states to adopt measures like comprehensive health care for LGBTQ+ patients and create “full inclusion” for LGBTQ+ youth.
The order builds on a previous executive order that Biden signed into law on his first day in office.
